Pause your plan for 30 days
Pause billing for 30 days at no cost. Your avatars, videos, settings and voices stay in place, creating is on hold, and the plan resumes on its own.
What a pause is
A pause stops your billing for 30 days. Nothing is charged during that time, everything on your account is kept safe, and the plan reactivates on its own when the 30 days are up. Creating is on hold while the pause runs, and one click brings it back.
It is the right choice when you are stepping away for a few weeks and want to come back to the same account: the same avatars, the same videos, the same settings, and the same voices.
Pause your plan
- Open Settings from the sidebar.
- Scroll to the bottom and click Delete account. This opens the account exit flow; the first screen is the pause offer, titled “Before you go, want a break instead?”
- Read the three lines under What pausing means: your avatars, videos and settings stay safe; you will not be charged while paused; you resume full access anytime with one click.
- Click Pause for 30 Days.
A confirmation screen tells you the date the pause ends: “Everything is kept safe until
You can also reach the pause from later in the same flow. If you continue past the survey, one of the three keep-my-account offers is Pause free for 30 days. Select it and click Apply & Keep My Account.
While you are paused
A ribbon at the top of the app reads: “Your account is paused: nothing is charged and everything is kept safe. It reactivates automatically on
- No charge is made while the pause runs.
- Your avatars, videos, scenes, settings and designed voices stay as they are.
- The pause is 30 days, one at a time. If you try to pause again while already paused, the app answers “The account is already paused.” You cannot stack pauses to extend the window.
Creating is on hold for the length of the pause. While it runs, the app reads your account as paused, and starting a render answers “Upgrade to a paid plan to create scenes and videos.” That is what “Resume full access anytime” on the pause screen refers to. Everything you already made stays where it is, and you can open it, watch it and download it. Click Resume Now on the ribbon and creating works again straight away.
Resume early
- Click Resume Now on the ribbon at the top of the app.
Billing and access resume immediately. There is nothing else to do.
When the 30 days end
The plan reactivates automatically on the date shown on the ribbon and billing continues as before. If you decide during the pause that you do not want to continue, cancel before that date. Cancel your subscription walks through it.
Pause versus cancel
| Pause | Cancel | |
|---|---|---|
| Charges | None for 30 days | None after the current paid term |
| Length | 30 days, then automatic resume | Ends at the end of the paid term |
| Avatars and videos | Kept | Kept |
| Designed voices | Kept | Deleted, cannot be restored |
| Coming back | One click, everything as you left it | Start a new subscription and design a new voice |
Warning: Canceling deletes the voices you designed and they cannot be restored. If there is any chance you will come back, pause instead.
If the monthly price is the real problem rather than the break, moving to a cheaper plan keeps the voices too.
