The terms, in plain English.

Commission

You earn 50% of every payment a customer you referred makes to AvatarFactory, for the lifetime of that customer. There is no 12 month cutoff and no cap on the number of referrals. Renewals and upgrades earn commission on the same terms as the first payment.

Commission is calculated on the amount the customer actually paid, after any discount, and before taxes and payment processing fees. A payment that is refunded, disputed, or charged back earns no commission, and a commission already credited for it is reversed. Your commission rate is shown in your affiliate portal, and we tell you before we change it.

Payouts

Payouts run once a month, in cash, to your bank account or your PayPal account. We never pay in credits or platform balance.

• 30 day hold. Each commission is held for 30 days after the payment that earned it, which is the window in which that payment can still be refunded or disputed. After the hold, the commission becomes available for payout.
• $50 minimum. A payout runs when your available balance is at least $50. Below that, the balance rolls over to the next monthly run and keeps accumulating.
• Your details, your responsibility. Keep your payout method and tax details current in the portal. We are not able to recover a payment sent to details you gave us incorrectly.
• Taxes. You are an independent partner, not an employee, and you are responsible for the taxes on what you earn. Where the law requires it, we may ask for tax documentation before we pay.

What your audience gets

Anyone who signs up through your link gets 20% off their first 3 months. The discount is applied automatically at checkout, so you have nothing to configure and nothing to promise by hand. Your commission is calculated on the discounted amount they pay.

Attribution

When someone opens your link, we store your referral code in their browser for 90 days. Attribution is first touch: if a visitor already carries another affiliate's code, that code is kept and yours is not written. The referral is locked to the affiliate on record at the moment the visitor creates their AvatarFactory account, and it stays locked for the life of that account.

Because tracking depends on the visitor's browser, a referral can be lost when someone clears their cookies, switches device or browser, or blocks storage before signing up. We credit what we can measure. We do not add referrals retroactively on request.

How you may promote AvatarFactory

Almost every honest channel is welcome: YouTube videos, newsletters, courses, communities, social posts, blogs, and your own website. Paid ads are allowed, including paid social and search, as long as they follow the rules below.

Disclose that your link is an affiliate link wherever the law or the platform requires it, and describe the product accurately.

What is not allowed

• No bidding on our brand. Do not bid on "AvatarFactory", "Avatar Factory", their misspellings, or any close variant in search ads, and do not use them in your display URLs or ad domains.
• No self-referral. You may not use your own link for your own account, for accounts you control, or for accounts belonging to your household or your company.
• No coupon or cashback sites. Coupon, deal, cashback, and loyalty sites are not eligible for the program. Do not distribute the discount as a public coupon code.
• No spam. No unsolicited email or direct messages, no comment or forum spam, no automated posting, and no traffic from bots or paid click schemes.
• No impersonation and no false claims. Do not present yourself as AvatarFactory, do not register domains, handles, or ad accounts that read as official, and do not promise results, earnings, or features the product does not deliver.
• No adult, hateful, or illegal placements. Do not promote AvatarFactory alongside adult content, hate speech, harassment, or anything unlawful.

Fraud and termination

We review referral activity. Where we find fraud, self-referral, or a breach of these terms, we may void the affected commissions, hold or cancel a pending payout, and close the affiliate account. Where the breach was clearly deliberate, we may also reclaim amounts we already paid on those referrals.

Either side can end the partnership at any time, for any reason, with notice in writing. If you leave in good standing, commissions already earned and past their hold are paid on the next scheduled run. Once the partnership ends, stop using our brand assets and remove your affiliate links.

Changes to the program

The program will evolve, so we may update these terms. When we make a material change, we update the version and the effective date at the top of this page and ask you to accept the new version in your affiliate portal. Changes are not retroactive: commissions already earned are settled under the terms in force when they were earned. Continued participation after an update means you accept the current version.
