Download, captions, clean master, QA report, regenerate a shot
Download your video with or without captions, preview eight caption styles on your own footage, run the QA report, fix one shot, and rebuild the final cut.
Rate the video
On a finished video, Rate this video sits at the right end of the bar under the title, with 1 to 5 stars. Your rating saves the moment you click a star.
- 5 stars ends there.
- 1 to 4 stars opens a What was wrong? panel. Pick everything that applies (voice, lip sync, how the avatar looks, gestures, script, captions, scene, blurry or glitchy, the copy not matching the original, or something else), add a note if you like, and click Send Feedback. You need at least one reason or a note to send. Skip keeps your rating without reasons.
Click a star again to change your answer; below 5 the panel reopens with your saved reasons. Rating a video never changes it or costs credits; it tells us what to improve. To fix a shot yourself, use Fix This Shot (below).
Download the video
Open the video from the Videos page. At the top, beside the status badge, a chip shows the face and name of the avatar the video was made with; clicking it opens that avatar’s page.
Two download buttons sit under the player:
-
With Captions… opens “Choose a caption style” with eight styles: Studio Pop, Chip, Stamp Drop, Marker Swipe, Mono Bracket, Typewriter, Plain and Solid Box. Each card shows a frame of your video with that style on it, in the place and size the captions really land, so you can see how it sits on your footage before you pick.
Above the styles, Position sets where the words sit: Top, Middle or Bottom. Middle is preselected. Click the pressed one again to clear it, and each style keeps its own height.
Clicking a card selects it and costs nothing: the style moves to the bar at the bottom marked “Selected”. Only the button in that bar burns and downloads, so you can compare all eight first. That button is also what saves the style as your default for next time.
The first caption burn on a video takes about a minute, because the words have to be timed to the audio once. Every style after that takes a few seconds, and a style you have already burned downloads immediately.
-
Clean Master (no captions) downloads the caption-free master straight away.
If the caption burn does not finish, the button reads With Captions · Retry and the note says your video is untouched. Click it again.
Templates that already have captions
The Two-Hander Podcast and Split-Window Reel templates draw their own captions as part of the composition, so there is no style to pick: adding one would put two sets of words on screen. On those videos a single Download video button shows and a note saying the template writes its own captions. The UGC Reel and Recreate a Reel templates are the ones with the picker, and both offer the Clean Master.
The ⋯ More menu holds Generate Similar (first), Copy Link, Download Thumbnail, Run QA Report and Delete. Each shot card has Download Shot for that clip alone and ⬇ Scene Photo for its scene still. The You Shipped screen right after a render offers Download as well.
Subtitles set to On in the wizard are burned into the render itself. The video page lets you add or change a caption style on any finished video afterwards.
The social caption
Click Social description in the bar under the title to open the caption panel. Copy copies the caption, Edit lets you change it and Save, and Regenerate (or Generate when there is none yet) lets the AI write one from the video. View full transcript above the shot list shows the spoken words of every shot with a copy button; audio tags are stripped from the copied text.
Run the QA report
From ⋯ More, click Run QA Report. The report page shows a verdict (APPROVED, REJECTED or PENDING) with an overall score out of 100, then one card per check: Resolution & Format, Audio Quality, Lip Sync, Subtitles, Visual Quality and Duration, each scored out of 10. Script Virality scores the hook and the script overall, with strengths and points to improve. “Required Fixes” lists what to change before posting; “Recommendations” lists what would help.
If the page says “No QA checks ran yet.”, the audit has not finished. Come back in a few minutes. ← Back to Video returns to the video page.
Regenerate one shot
Each shot card on the right of the video page ends with “Wrong word, wrong move, or a weak scene? Fix the inputs and regenerate just this shot.”
- Click Fix This Shot. The booth opens as ”✦ Fix Shot N · Talking Head” or ”· Cinematic Motion”, with the current take playing on the left.
- Change what went wrong: the Transcript, the Instructions, or the scene (pick a saved one or generate a new one). Instructions · what the avatar is doing is on every shot, Talking Head and Cinematic Motion alike, prefilled with the direction that shot was last rendered with; edit it to change the movement, or clear it to fall back to the default relaxed gesture. Add an optional note under “Steering” if the problem is hard to name, such as a wrong gesture. With no changes the modal says “No input changes yet · this is a plain re-roll”, which is fine when you only want another roll of the dice.
- Confirm. The card shows the render progress and “Current take kept safe”; the credits reserved for the re-roll are listed on the card. Your video stays playable the whole time.
- When the card reads ”✦ New take waiting”, click Review Takes. Play both, then keep the fresh take or your current one. Closing without choosing parks the new take on the card; it does not disappear.
A shot marked “This take didn’t render” returns its credits; click ↻ Try Again.
We also check every finished shot against your avatar’s own face. If one comes back looking like someone else, we re-render it once for free; if it still does not match, the card reads “This shot may not look like your avatar. Fix This Shot to regenerate.” and you decide.
Warning: A shot that continues from the previous shot’s last frame is locked while its neighbor regenerates. The card says so; it unlocks when that render finishes.
Rebuild the final video
After you keep a new take, a bar appears at the bottom: “A shot changed. Rebuild the final video to stitch the new take and re-burn captions.” Click Rebuild Final Video. The player shows the rebuild progress and a small pill in the corner keeps it visible while you scroll. Downloads and the caption burn use the rebuilt cut from then on.
Edit the video
✂ Edit Video on a finished video opens the editor: trim, reorder and add clips, stock footage and music, with the captions panel prefilled from your script. The chip at the top reads Saved, Saving… or Save Failed. Export Video renders the edited composition; Back to Video returns to the video page. If another tab changed the same draft, the editor asks you to reload before it saves again.
Once the file is on your machine, posting a faceless channel covers what to do with it.
